Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala demanded a judicial probe against K T Jaleel for giving more marks through adalats and promoting failed candidates.
Chennithala wanted Jaleel to resign from the minister’s post and face the judicial investigation.
The minister had recommended to give more marks to an engineering student at the adalat held under the MG University.

The university authorities did not pay heed to the minister’s request and this was discussed at the Syndicate.
In return,Jaleel said, “minister cannot intervene in the University decisions and has not asked anyone to inflate the marks.”
