BJP to kick-start election campaign in Meghalaya ahead of Shella by-poll
The Meghalaya BJP will kick off a campaign for its party candidate Joshua Warjri in the bye-election for the Shella Assembly constituency.
BJP State president, Shibun Lyngdoh informed that the party kick off its campaign with the public meeting to be held at Shella.
The BJP MLA from Shillong South, Sanbor Shullai will be the main speaker along with the party candidate will be the main speaker at the public meeting.
According to him, the central leadership of the party is expected to campaign for the party candidate.
It may be mentioned that the BJP candidate, Jropsing Nongkhlaw who contested in the 2018 Assembly elections got 3390 votes.
