TMC MP Nusrat Jahan Offers First Anjali to Goddess Durga

TMC MP Nusrat Jahan and her husband Nikhil Jain offered first 'Anjali' together to goddess Durga during ongoing festivities in Bengal.
Dressed in traditional clothes Nusrat also played 'Dhaak' a musical instrument after offering prayers to Goddess Durga.
While talking to media she said that she had prayed for the people so that they live a peaceful and happy life.

When asked about offering prayers being a Muslim she said that she has her own way of portraying harmony towards all religions.
She further added that being born and brought up in Bengal, she is following culture and tradition.
