Former Congress MLA Parlad Singh Sawhney joined AAP in the presence of party chief Arvind Kejriwal and Sanjay Singh.
Parlad Singh Sawhney said that he joined the AAP because he was impressed by the work done by the party in the last five years.
However, Parlad Singh said that he has no desire of contesting elections.
Welcoming him to the party fold, Kejriwal said he was extremely happy that Sawhney had joined AAP with his team.
The four-time Congress MLA Parlad Singh won his first assembly election from Chandni Chowk constituency in 1998 and was re-elected in 2003, 2008 and 2013.
