Kummanam Rajasekharan listed in BJP's probable candidate list
- Former Mizoram governor Kummanam Rajasekharan, has been included in the list of probable candidates submitted to the party’s central leadership.
- Earlier, Kummanam had publicly stated that he has no intention of contesting the bypoll at Vattoyoorkkavu.
- Names of probable candidates responsible for all the five constituencies were discussed at the BJP core committee meet.
- “We would be submitting three names for each constituency recommended by the district committees, but they cannot be revealed now,” said M T Ramesh, State general secretary.
- Reportedly,the core committee strongly believe that Kummanam should contest from Vattiyoorkkavu considering his winnability.
