‘Ghar Wapsi’ for Vijai, Sudin?
- Almost two months after being unceremoniously dropped from the State Cabinet, former deputy chief ministers Vijai Sardesai and Sudin Dhavalikar are vying for a comeback.
- Sudin’s all out praise of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Prime Minister Narendra Modi was clear cut indication that “something is cooking.”
- Sudin is close to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and sources reveal that the minister is keen on bringing the MGP leader back in the saddle.
- On the other hand, highly-placed sources revealed that Goa Forward Supremo Vijai Sardesai met BJP national president Amit Shah in Delhi, before he left for UK tour. He is scheduled to return on September 19.
- His meeting with Amit Shah was facilitated by the BJP national leader B L Santosh, sources revealed.
