Gulab Chand Kataria alleges Congress's interference on sharp rise in crime rate

Leader of Opposition in the assembly Gulab Chand Kataria  targeted Congress government over “deteriorating” law and order situation in the state.
Kataria alleged that political interference in the functioning of the police is the major reason of rising crime graph in the state.
“It was an embarrassment to the entire state police force that at Behror where goons barged into a police station and fired with the assault rifle AK-47 to escape with a wanted criminal,” Kataria stated.
He further said that the chief minister himself is heading the home department, but it seems either he didn’t take the law and order issue seriously or had no time for it.
He also suggested that the chief minister should have an associate minister so that monitoring of law and order issues could be done on a daily basis.
