Bandaru Dattatreya is now Himachal’s new governor
- Former Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya took oath as Himachal Pradesh governor on Wednesday.
- He is the 27th governor of the Himachal Pradesh succeeding Kalraj Mishra.
- Mr Dattatreya was minister of state for labour and employment in the BJP government in 2014.
- Earlier, Dattatreya was also a part of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee cabinet.
- Kalraj Mishra, the previous Himachal Pradesh governor has taken the oath as the Rajasthan governor.
