A picture of newly appointed West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar meeting ex-CM Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee has gone viral on social media. Most people are reacting to the picture with a great sense of shock as the ailing former CM of Bengal is virtually unrecognisable in the picture. He has lost massive amount of weight and looks extremely frail. 
75-year-old Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee was Chief Minister of Bengal from 2000 to 2011. Left Front lost power in 2011 to TMC on the back of Nandigram and Singur protest. Buddhadeb too lost his own seat Jadavpur. After that, he slowly started to reduce his political activity and willingly pulled out of top CPI(M) committees. Bhattacharjee who is suffering from many ailments has been virtually been stuck at home in the last few years.
