The association also appreciated the chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, for taking the right decision in giving the charge of the ministry to the most qualified legislator. The association expressed confidence that the minister would help 1243 recognised VDBs in all aspects of developmental activities.
The association also discussed on the pen-down strike called by the 11 DRDAs and extended its fullest support to the DRDAs and apprised the minister to heed to the call of the DRDAs in clearing their legitimate salaries without further delay.
