The state government has plans for global investors mega summit, probably in September itself. In the first phase, the government is organizing the Diplomatic Outreach programme at Vijayawada today (Friday), which will pave the way for easily reaching global investors. Speaking to this correspondent, Rajat Bhargava, Principal Secretary, Industries Infrastructure & Investment, said that they have plans to invite global investors to explore opportunities in the state in various sectors.
But, before that, we have been finding the potential areas, by interacting with the diplomats of various countries. At this juncture, he informed that it was wrongly carried to the public that the Diplomatic Outreach programme itself is an industrial summit. He explained that it is not the industrial summit and only an interactive meeting with the diplomats but not with industrialists.
