CM Naveen Patnaik rejects Opposition’s law and order charge

Dismissing Opposition allegations that law and order situation in Odisha is alarming, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday asserted that people of the State have reposed faith in the governance model of his Government by electing it for the fifth consecutive time.“If the four and half crore people of Odisha have blessed our Government for the fifth consecutive time, it is because of the faith they have reposed in our governance model,” Naveen told the Assembly.
Replying to the debate on demand for grants of Home and General Administration departments, the Chief Minister said the State has not only maintained higher economic growth than the national average but has also attracted huge investments. This has been possible because of the peaceful situation in the State.
