Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 declared tax-free in Gujarat, actor thanks CM Vijay Rupani

After being declared tax-free in Rajasthan, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 is now tax-free in Gujarat as well. Overwhelmed, the actor took to Twitter and thanked Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.
He wrote, "Thank you Vijay Rupani ji @vijayrupanibjp, for rewarding our efforts and declaring Super 30 tax free in Gujarat. Team Super 30 is deeply overwhelmed by your kind gesture."
Anand Kumar, who founded the Super 30 program for underprivileged aspiring IIT students also tweeted to Rupani.
He wrote, "Many thanks Hon’ble Gujarat CM @vijayrupanibjp ji for making #super30 tax free. Your kind gesture will help students and teachers watch the film and take its message. Thanks a lot."
Super 30 is an educational drama which tells the story of Patna-based mathematician Anand Kumar, played by Hrithik Roshan. It shows how he helped underprivileged children crack the prestigious IIT examination. The film had been delayed several times and had been caught in controversies, as director Vikas Bahl was accused of sexual harassment. He had to step down from the film. However, an internal complaints committee set up by Phantom Films, cleared him of all charges and reinstated him as director.
The film also features Mrunal Thakur as his love interest. Though the film has received mixed reviews, Hrithik's performance has been praised. Super 30 achieved the Rs 100-cr milestone two days ago.
