Nursing college inaugurated

Minister for Health Eatala Rajender along with Minister for Social Welfare Koppula Eshwar inaugurated the newly constructed Government Nursing College and Hostel in Jagtial town on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajender said that the government was taking all measures to transform Telangana State into “healthy state” by bringing revolutionary changes in the health sector. Stating that the government hospitals were competing on par with private hospitals in providing medical assistance, he said that the government hospitals were providing dialysis facilities, ICU, ECG and other facilities to the patients.
Minister for Social Welfare Koppula Eshwar said that the government had provided dialysis facilities at the government headquarters hospital in Jagtial and improved the facilities by filling doctor and other posts. Jagtial legislator M. Sanjay Kumar urged the government to expedite the completion of mother and child health centre in Jagtial town for the benefit pregnant women and encourage deliveries in government hospital.
Korutla legislator K. Vidyasagar Rao called upon the nursing students to serve in the country instead of migrating to foreign nations. MLC Naradasu Laxman Rao, ZP chairperson Dava Vasantha, Joint Collector B. Rajesham, Nursing College principal Vidyavathi and others were also present.
