Flood in Arunachal: CM Khandu seeks emergency plan

Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu directed the district heads and local authorities to be vigilant and prepared for tackling flood and landslides.
Different parts of Arunachal Pradesh have been affected due to flood and landslide triggered by incessant rains.
Several roads, bridges, culverts and houses across the state have been damaged in the natural disaster.
There are reports of loss of livestock while a woman has been missing in West Kameng district after a flash flood on Sunday.
Khandu asked all the link departments to coordinate and work out for a State Emergency Mitigation Plan under the supervision of the chief secretary.
He directed the disaster management department to issue instructions to all the district administrations to provide sufficient relief materials, rations and drinking water to the flood-affected people.
