Tiwari plans roadmap for Assembly polls

Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Manoj Tiwari, along with other sitting Member of Parliament (MPs),  carried out Vidhan Sabha tolly meeting with a motive to prepare the roadmap ahead of the crucial Delhi Assembly elections slated to be held in January 2020.
There are pressing issues before the BJP in form of  never ending sealing drive, Bangladesh immigrants, and contractual employees that the party will have to sort out before going for the big battle against Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
The meeting was held in the backdrop of identifying potential candidates who will play vital role during the high voltage election campaign to wrest power from the ruling AAP. According to the sources in Delhi BJP, the work to identify candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections has started. With the launch of membership drive, BJP office bearers have been directed to meet with people and convey them about party’s achievements.
Among various issues, sealing, regularisation of unauthorised colonies and issues connected to contractual employees were discussed on the top priority.
If BJP sources are to be believed, the Delhi BJP president is also trying to gel well with local MPs. Tiwari and other MPs still need to create a bond required to strengthen party at the state level," said a leader pleading anonymity.
Delhi's demography plays crucial role during elections. With the time, nature of voters has changed drastically," a senior BJP leader added.
Delhi has seven sitting MPs representing different communities under one umbrella of the BJP.
Meanwhile, Delhi BJP's membership drive progrmame was held at  New Shahdara, Mayur Vihar, Outer Delhi , South Delhi , Najafgarh and Mehrauli districts.
Party representative in these districts emphasised on booth level work and door to door campaigning to spread work done under Central leadership.
Delhi BJP president, Manoj Tiwari, in a video said that the party is focusing on the core issues of Delhi. "From water scarcity, electricity to every household, sealing , rights of contractual employees will be taken care," said Tiwari. 
Citing transport problems, Tiwari said that Delhi transport system has been failed completely, there should be 100 buses for one lakh people but at present only 17 buses are plying," the BJP leader and MP from North East constituency highlighted the issue in a video.
Tiwari also expressed concern over Yamuna pollution  and urged BJP workers to work collectively for cleaning the river which stretches over 21 km before crossing Delhi.
