Govt. accused of not keeping promise

Accusing the government of not meeting their promise and demanding speedy implementation of their demand, Karnataka State Primary Teachers Association has decided to take a mass holiday on July 9 in the State.
Informing this at a press conference here on Sunday, B.T. Goudar, district president, said that the decision for holding protest was taken during the working committee meeting held in Bengaluru recently.Speaking on their demand, Mr. Goudar said that the government must consider graduation of teachers for giving salary based on their qualification.Stating that no transfer of teachers had taken place for the last three years, he demanded early completion of the transfer process to help teachers who are in need of it.
