KCR's exclusion from National panel angers TRS

Centre's decision to keep Telangana Chief Minister KCR out of a top-level committee on agriculture comprising of Chief Ministers has angered the TRS circles. The TRS believes that this move by Centre is a political decision by the BJP led government who did it on purpose. TRS believes that KCR's presence in the committee would have been a huge plus for the country considering KCR's farmer welfare policies especially the Rythu Bandhu have been adopted by Centre.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier this week announced the constitution of 9 member committees headed by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadvanis. The aim of the committee would be to transform the agricultural sector by increasing farmer's income. Chief Ministers of Haryana, Arunachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh are also a part of this committee and have been asked to submit a report in 2 months to raised the income in agriculture and attract investments.
"It is unfortunate if they don't appreciate KCR's efforts for the development of agriculture in the state and also his contribution at the Centre. It is also unfortunate that even after replicating Telangana's schemes like 'Rythu Bandhu', they do not think his experience and vision is needed for the country," said TRS spokesperson Abid Khan.
