Yeddyurapppa criticises ruling coalition in Karnataka, terms it ‘sleeping government’

You may have heard the famous proverb: “When Rome was burning, Nero was fiddling.”
This is precisely what Karnataka state BJP president BS Yeddyurappa used to describe the present political mess the state is going through.
At a press conference at his official room in Vidhana Soudha (secretariat building), the leader of opposition tore into the ruling coalition saying that there was an absence of credibility and responsibility in the state.
Yeddyurappa said, “This is a sleeping government. There is massive drought in the state. As many as 143 taluks (sub-divisions) have not received rains. People are thirsting for water. But our CM is sojourning the United States.”
