Success stories that are made in Hyderabad

Former Minister and TRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Friday launched Made in Hyderabad, a book that chronicles 25 success stories of start-up founders from the city. Speaking at the launch, Mr. Rao listed various initiatives taken by the State government from 2014 onwards for easing the life of entrepreneurs.
“We wanted to help entrepreneurs build successful, scalable, revenue-positive businesses. We knew that to be an entrepreneur in India is tough and challenging. We wanted to change that. I am happy to note that our steps to help businesses have worked,” said Mr. Rao. The 140-page book gives a blow-by-blow account of how businessmen dared to dream and translate their dreams into reality. A short foreword has also been penned by Mr. Rao for the book.
Earlier, entrepreneur Raj N. Phani spoke about the idea behind bringing out the book. “We are a young nation and a lot of people have great ideas, but do not know how to turn them into reality. These are all case studies that will inspire people who are on the fence to turn businessmen,” said Mr. Raj.
