Cong slams Raman for financial crisis jibe

Congress on Sunday hit out at former Chief Minister Raman Singh for his statement that state was reeling under a steep financial crisis.
Raman Singh himself is largely responsible for whatsoever the financial situation presently exists in the state,’’ a Congress statement alleged.
Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) general secretary and chairman of the PCC communication wing Shailesh Nitin Trivedi termed the statement of Raman Singh as Rs irresponsible’.
He (Raman Singh) was responsible for financial mismanagement in the state while holding finance portfolio when he was the chief minister of the state’’ Trivedi alleged in a statement.
Trivedi further blamed that “the free mobile distribution, partial merger with the school  education department of Shikshakarmis, corruption in Samvad during the previous BJP regime were some of the glaring examples of Raman Singh’s financial mismanagement’’.
