Teachers’ pending payment credited on CM’s instruction

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel took a serious note of a few tweets of some teachers of Kota, Tifra, Basna civic bodies and Raigarh district who drew his attention regarding non-payment of their salaries for past several months, directed the officials to clear their dues on Sunday itself.
He directed the officials to look into the pending salary cases and immediately resolve it.
As per official communiqué, on the direction of Chief Minister on Sunday, the wages pending for past three months of teachers were deposited in the bank accounts of teachers based at Nagar Panchayat Kota and Tifra of Bilaspur district and Nagar Panchayat Basna in Mahasamund district.
Similarly, Janpad Panchayat Gharghoda of Raigarh district teachers’ wages was directed to be deposited.
Recently, through a tweet to Chief Minister, the teachers’ of Takhatpur had highlighted non-payment of wages for the last five months. Urban administration department then released the payment while it had sought reasons for delay from Chief Municipal Officer, Takhatpur.
