Sikkim CM urges Centre to reserve seats in Assembly for Limboo-Tamang

Sikkim chief minister Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) has urged the central government to reserve seats in the Sikkim Legislative Assembly for Limboo-Tamang communities.
The Sikkim chief minister placed the demand before the Centre as he called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah at North Block in New Delhi on Friday. The demand for reservation of seats in the Sikkim Legislative Assembly for Limboo-Tamang communities has been pending for the last several years as a result of which the communities have remained deprived of enjoying their political rights.
