Former Sikkim CM writes emotional letter to people; says State facing tough times
Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) president and former chief minister Pawan Chamling has written a letter to the people of Sikkim apprehending lawlessness and mis-governance in coming days.
Chamling is presently in New Delhi and will be returning in a few days. In his letter, Chamling wrote, “My dear people of Sikkim, our state at present is going through a tough time of transition. Our peace and security, which we so greatly valued and which we are so proud of, is under threat. We are getting to witness lawlessness and turmoil that were unheard of in the last 25 years.
These are testing times for all of us, and we have to overcome it unitedly. I’m with my beloved ‘Sikkimey Janta’ forever fighting for their rights, and you too have to be with us to protect our security and pride of being Sikkimese.”
