Rio introspects at PDA thanksgiving

Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio said his personal alliance with BJP remained unbroken despite severe tests from 2002 till date and will continue unless something “very bad takes place”.
Speaking at the ruling Progressive Democratic Alliance(PDA) thanksgiving service held here at the State Banquet Hall, Rio, however, said if the NDA government at the Centre went against the interest of the Nagas, their social practises, culture and tradition then, he will not succumb to it.
Referring to the recent Lok Sabha win in the state, the chief minister said he accepted the victory with humility but that it was now time get back to work and perform better with more commitment leaving aside the differences and to rise above party affiliation.
