TRS ‘murder politics’ condemned

The ruling TRS party is resorting to ‘murder politics’ unable to digest the growth of the BJP in Telangana with Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao himself encouraging such attacks, charged TS BJP party chief K. Laxman on Thursday.
The BJP leader was addressing a gathering after consoling the grieving family members of party activist Prem Kumar, who was killed by TRS activists, after the announcement of the results of the local body polls at Dokur village in Devarakadra mandal of Mahabubnagar district.
Strongly condemning the attacks on partymen, Mr. Laxman said the brutal attack on Mr. Prem Kumar with hunting sickles exposes the ‘intolerance of the ruling party’ and is the beginning of KCR’s downfall. By resorting to such tactics, TRS wants to turn Telangana into another Bengal, he charged.
He attributed to recent attacks to recent reversals for TRS in the Lok Sabha elections and feeling of insecurity among the TRS leaders. “The Chief Minister is trying to eliminate opposition voice in the State by hook or crook,” he said. BJP is a party with strong ideology and principles, and the party workers are always ready to sacrifice themselves for the party and it will not go waste.
