Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and People's Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti on Monday, June 3, took on Home Minister Amit Shah saying that since 1947, Kashmir had been looked through the prism of security by successive governments.
This is not the first time that Mufti has made comments that have had far-reaching repercussions and with the President's rule in the state, such statements make her evident aspirations in the upcoming Assembly elections more visible. However, it is to be noted that the newly appointed Home Minister Amit Shah is known to be a tough nut to crack and would surely come out with a befitting reply to Mufti.
