The Telangana government has released Rs 6,900 crore for the Rythu Bandhu scheme for Kharif season. An order has been passed to agriculture department on Monday. As assured, the government enhanced the Rythu Bandhu scheme Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000 per acre and decided to release funds in the view of ensuing Kharif season. However, the government has not announced the date of funds release as the election code is in place. The dates will be announced by the government after the MPP and ZP chairman election i.e, on May 7 and 8.
