Delhi Assembly polls: Battle for city 2020

After winning the municipal corporations and seven seats in the Lok Sabha, the BJP's new target is Delhi Assembly election which is scheduled for February 2020.
The saffron party wants to win the upcoming election badly, and for this, the BJP has set a target to win 60 out of total 70 constituencies in Delhi Vidhan Sabha election.
This is the reason why the party leaders are celebrating the 2019 Lok Sabha victory and are preparing themselves for 'Mission 2020'. The Delhi BJP leaders have already started working on the strategy of encompassing the Arvind Kejriwal-led government in Delhi, and have organised a "big meeting" at the Talkatora Stadium on Wednesday, where more than 3,000 party leaders will be present.
In 2019 Lok Sabha election, the BJP saw defeat at 1,808 out of total 13,816 booths in Delhi - which are mainly Muslim-dominated areas. Delhi BJP's Sangathan Mantri Siddharthan is set to hold a party meeting where he is believed to ask the workers to reach out to Muslims and link more people from the community with the saffron party.
Apart from this, BJP workers will also ensure that underprivileged people from the Muslim community are provided with the benefits of the Modi government schemes.
To achieve the goal of eliminating the 22 years of exile from the power in Delhi, Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari is all set to interact with the people throughout his election campaigning and will also stay in Valmiki and slum areas. Senior BJP leaders will also take part in these campaigning.
With the settlements in Valmiki and slums areas, which are considered as strong vote banks of the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party, the BJP has got an edge over this Lok Sabha election.
Tiwari has already started staying in Wajirabad at nights. In addition, to increasing the population base in slum clusters, he is also set to go to all the 14 organisational districts and 70 Assembly constituencies in Delhi.
