Reacting to the blasphemous comments made by Pragya Singh Thakur, wherein she referred to the assassin of Mahatma Gandhi, Nathuram Godse, as a patriot, the chief of the Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh and Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, advocate Prakash Ambedkar has said Godse was a terrorist.
The killer of Mahatma Gandhi was a terrorist. Killing any person is an act of terror. Having said this, it equally incorrect to hold the Hindu religion responsible for this terror act,” said Ambedkar, speaking at an event in Kolhapur on Friday.
Ambedkar was speaking to the media on the latest developments before the last phase of Lok Sabha elections, which will be held on Sunday. He also severely criticised the developments in West Bengal, blaming the Bharatiya Janata Party. Speaking of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, Ambedkar said his party would contest all the seats in the Assembly polls.
