There is no violence in Bengal: Mamata Banerjee

n an exclusive interview with Aaj Tak TV, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress president Mamata Banerjee on Thursday said there is no violence in Bengal.
Asked about allegations that Mamata Banerjee was promoting violence during elections in Bengal, she said, "Election Commission is conducting elections, not me. BJP has not done its homework. I am not doing any violence. There is no violence. There are so many blocks and booths, if BJP is going somewhere and doing it, then it’s them and no one else."
Attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mamata Banerjee said he has ruined the nation in five years and her main aim right now is "Modi hatao, desh bachao (Remove Modi, save the country)".
When Aaj Tak TV asked her about the kurtas she sends him as gifts, she said, "In pujo, I send kurtas to everybody. It’s courtesy. It's Bengali culture."
