Parth Pawar is the son of senior NCP leader Ajit Pawar and grandson NCP supremo Sharad Pawar. In Maval, there are six state assembly seats that includes Pimpri, Chinchwad, Maval , Karjat, Uran, and Panvel.
Maval Lok Sabha constituency is an urban and rural constituency which witnessed a steady flow of voters in urban areas of Panvel, Khargar and Uran.
