Jana Sena Party gearing up for local body elections

Jana Sena Party political adviser and former Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu P. Rammohana Rao and Political Advisory Committee convener Madasu Gangadharam on Sunday said the party would contest the local body elections and utilise the opportunity to strengthen the party base in the State and gear up the cadre for the 2024 elections.
Party senior leaders organised a series of meetings both in Vizianagaram and Srikakulam to elicit the views of contesting candidates.
Addressing the media after review meetings in Vizianagaram, Mr. Gangadharam said that JSP founder Pawan Kalyan set a new trend in politics by allotting the party ticket to common people to prove that the party was encouraging socially and economically backward sections.
Mr. Pawan Kalyan’s political secretary P. Hari Prasad lauded Vizianagaram MP candidate Mukka Srinivasa Rao and Vizianagaram MLA candidate Palavalasa Yashaswi for taking on Telugu Desam and YSRCP which were under the control of a few families.
