Assam To Be Foreigner-Free Under Narendra Modi: Amit Shah

National BJP president Amit Shah said that Assam would be a foreigner-free State if Prime Minister Narendra Modi is elected for the second term in a raw.
Addressing an election rally at Ahatguri for party candidate Rupak Sarma, Shah pooh-poohed the Congress-led grand alliance for its failure to project the prime ministerial candidate as yet. Slamming the Opposition parties for their inefficient leadership, Amit Shah said if it is so why the people should vote for the Congress.
“During the past fifteen-year-rule in Assam, the Congress only protected illegal foreigners, instead of driving them away. Congress could never protect or save the country’s borders although it ruled the nation for a long time,” the BJP chief said.
