Congress candidates hit the streets

Congress party candidates for Malkajgiri and Chevella parliamentary constituencies, A. Revanth Reddy and Konda Vishveshwar Reddy, respectively, have made a head start in electioneering by addressing party workers meetings and also meeting party leaders.
Mr. Revanth Reddy met Talangana Jana Samithi (TJS) president M. Kodandaram in the latter's residence and sought TJS support on Monday. He met Congress party leader K. Srisailam Goud of Qutbullapur Assembly constituency on Saturday and sought his cooperation. Mr. Reddy has also lined up meetings with party workers in all the seven Assembly segments falling in the Lok Sabha constituency.
Speaking at meeting at Medchal on Monday, Mr. Revanth Reddy said he had no intention to contest the Lok Sabha elections but several Congress legislators including P. Sabitha Indra Reddy (Maheshwaram) and D. Sudheer Reddy (L.B. Nagar) had asked me to enter the fray offering their support. However, the two had left the party for reasons better known to them.
