The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2019, that seeks to give Indian nationality to non-Muslim refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan passed the lower House test yesterday. In Arunachal Pradesh, thousands of people gathered for a long march to express their anger against this bill. Mr. Shah why don't you understand that this bill is a warning bell for the republic.
And if it is not so then why Muslim sects like Shias, Ahmadiyas and Bahaiis, who are more persecuted in Pakistan and Bangladesh than Hindus, have been left out of the Bill's purview.
