Congress president Rahul Gandhi will soon converse directly with the block and booth-level workers in Goa as part of the party's voter outreach campaign ahead of Lok Sabha elections, a senior party functionary said Tuesday.

AICC Secretary A Chellakumar said the Congress has decided to designate their prominent workers as "Sahyogis" who will connect voters with the party organisation.

Gandhi had conversed with block and booth-level committees in Karnataka and Telangana, he said.

"Very soon we can expect that in Goa. Already he had spoken with Goa Pradsh Congress Committee president Girish Chodankar," he said.

Chellakumar was addressing a meeting of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) and state executive committee to launch "Jan Sampark Abhiyaan" of the party in two Lok Sabha constituencies in Goa
