The Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday demanded that the government initiate an immediate inquiry into the audio clip of an alleged telephonic conversation between Health Minister Vishwajit Rane and an unidentified person, wherein Rane says that Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, during a cabinet meeting had claimed to have Rafale deal-related files in his bedroom.
Power Minister Nilesh Cabral told  a press conference at the city BJP headquarters along with Minister for Urban Development Milind Naik that the ‘voice of Vishwajit’ in the audio clip could belong to any mimicry artist, and Goa Pradesh Congress committee spokesperson Siddhanath Buyao, who owns a recording studio, may have designed this clip with such an imitation voice.
