Tripura Govt plans to construct the tallest building of Northeast

The Tripura Government is planning to construct Northeast India’s tallest building in the Old Central Jail complex of Agartala.
Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, accompanied by State Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath and officials of different concerned departments visited the Old Central Jail complex and held a high-level meeting.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Deb revealed the idea to construct a 20-storey building in the vacant complex.
