‘Will seek help of all parties to make Nizamabad beautiful’

In politics, there are no foes, said MLA-elect Bigala Ganesh Gupta, adding that he will seek the cooperation of all political parties for the city’s development.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, he said the Opposition has every right to point out mistakes committed by the ruling party in the implementation of welfare and development schemes, and that petty politics must be kept aside now that the elections are over.
Mr. Gupta, who arrived in the city for the first time after the Assembly election, said all developmental work that is under way would be executed at the earliest. The city would be turned most beautiful next only to Hyderabad and Warangal in the State, he said.
Thanking Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha and TRS workers for ensuring his victory for the second time, he said
he secured triple the majority in this election compared to the last one when he got just over 10,000 votes. This majority had not be seen in case of anyone in the urban constituency since 1962, he said.
Earlier in the day, the party workers took Mr. Gupta to the camp office in a huge procession. Mayor Akula Sujatha, TRS leaders A.S. Posetty and E. Ganga Reddy were present. Later, the MLA-elect distributed Bathukamma sarees to beneficiaries.
