Govt. not interested in session: Yeddyurappa

The leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly B.S. Yeddyurappa on Thursday alleged that the government had no bona fide intentions to conduct the business of the House as was evident in lack of efforts to resolve the stalemate.
“It is the duty of the Parliamentary Affairs Minister to reach out to us and try and resolve the stalemate, but not once has he reached out to us from Wednesday evening. Speaker K.R. Ramesh Kumar’s efforts have also gone in vain,” he said. “We are ready to even extend the session by a few days and take up debate on pressing issues such as drought, north Karnataka issues, and farm loan waiver. But we want the government to talk specifics.”
