The DMK flag was hoisted by party president M.K. Stalin atop a 114-ft-high flag pole erected at Anna Arivalayam, the party’s headquarters, here on Wednesday.
The flag, measuring 30 feet in length and 20 feet in width, was hoisted atop the 2,430 kg mast. The lamps installed on the mast would ensure the visibility of the flag round-the-clock. DMK treasurer Duraimurugan, principal secretary T.R. Baalu and senior party functionaries were present.
