Rajasthan Congress president Sachin Pilot hit back at Vasundhara Raje saying that such statements don’t suit a ruling party. The scathing attack came a day after Raje said that Bharat Mata is BJP’s mother while the Congress has only one mother which is Sonia Gandhi.
Talking to reporters, Pilot said, “These statements don’t suit a ruling party. They can’t shrug their responsibility by making allegations against the opposition. It’s the day of accountability.”
While addressing a rally in Bundi on Friday, Vasundhara Raje had targeted the Congress party saying that Congress leaders have a problem in eulogizing “Bharat Mata”. Raje had said that the Congress leaders only respect United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and no one else.
