Union Minister of State for Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) Shripad Yesso Naik will inaugurate the AYUSH hospital at Tuensang in December. This was conveyed by Naik to State’s health & family welfare (H&FW) minister S Pangnyu Phom when the latter called on him in New Delhi on Saturday.

According to a press release issued by PRO Nagaland House, New Delhi, Phom had called on the Union minister at his official residence in New Delhi on Sunday. During the meeting, S Pangnyu Phom briefed Naik on an implementation of a Central scheme under AYUSH, besides submitting a project on medicinal plants fields and herbal gardens in the State.

He also urged the Central minister to visit the State and inaugurate the first AYUSH hospital at Tuensang. Naik assured the H&FW minister of taking up the project proposal submitted by him and also asked the State government to fix the date for inauguration of the AYUSH hospital in December.
