Kumaraswamy launches Kaveri Online Services

Property buyers in the State can now download application forms and pay the fee online before seeking an appointment with the sub-registrar for document registration.
In a bid to make registration of documents convenient to the public and reduce interface with touts loitering around the sub-registrar’s office, Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy launched Kaveri Online Services on Friday.
The service will also provide details of 250 sub-registrar offices in the State to help users locate their jurisdictional offices. It will help citizens in need of various services offered by the Stamps and Registration Department.
The government is introducing online option for a host of services to ensure that the services reach the targeted group of citizen. The government will deploy technology in more departments for better delivery of services and for enhanced transparency.
Revenue Minister R.V. Deshpande said people expect a lot from his department, and he would work on bringing out more people-friendly reforms, he said.
