Film actor and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday alleged that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was trying to divide people on the lines of caste for political gain.
“I have no caste and am committed to uniting people of this State. No one can divide people on caste lines as long as I am alive,” Mr. Pawan said while addressing a public meeting at Gollala Mamidada village of Pedapudi mandal.
“The Chief Minister and the Cabinet members are attributing caste even to national leaders. Is it proper to attribute motives to the leaders who had sacrificed their lives for the cause of the nation?” he asked.
