The announcement of BJP’s candidates for four Assembly constituencies in erstwhile undivided Adilabad district in the first list on Saturday is on expected lines. In fact, senior party leaders had unofficially declared the name of Padakanti Rama Devi as the candidate from Mudhole constituency in Nirmal district a few months ago.

Payal Shankar from Adilabad, Adivasi leader Madavi Raju from Boath and Koyyala Emaji has been announced as candidate from Bellampally (SC) in Mancherial district.
