Accusing caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao of turning elections into an auction, Telangana Congress chief spokesperson Dasoju Sravan said that by increasing Rs. 16 on every election promise made by the Congress he was trying to hoodwink the people.

At a press conference here, he said Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao instead of making announcements of increasing by Rs. 16 he should have implemented the same in his four-year rule. Students, who were waiting for employment were ridiculed by Mr. Rao for asking for jobs and at the end of his rule he talks about unemployment allowance. But students and youth are determined to defeat the TRS as they believe only Congress can deliver on its promise, he said.
