CM may be discharged from AIIMS in the first week of November

Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar is expected to be discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in the first week of November, and return to Goa during the Diwali festival. Parrikar has been undergoing treatment at the Delhi-based AIIMS since mid-September for his pancreatic ailment.
Bicholim MLA Rajesh Patnekar, who called on the Chief Minister at the hospital Tuesday morning, later told ‘The Navhind Times’ that the health of the Chief Minister is stable and he would be back in Goa by the time of the Diwali festival.
Patnekar said that although it was a courtesy call, he also spoke to the Chief Minister as regards a number of works in his constituency, which have been stuck for a long time.
