Pointing out that planning is a key to success, RDA Minister Jayesh Salgaonkar said that felicitation not only boosts the morale of meritorious students but puts the responsibility on them to perform well. Salgaonkar was addressing a gathering on the occasion of the felicitation of meritorious students from the Muslim community organised by the Association of All Goa Muslim Jamaats in the city.

Valpoi Municipal Council (VMC) chairperson Parvin Shaikh, deputy commissioner of Income Tax, Goa division, Shahnawaz ul Rahman, AGMJA president Bashir Shaikh, secretary AGMJ, Hanif Shaikh, Salim Khazi, Nooruddin Shaikh and Sarfaraz Shaikh were also present on the dais. Speaking further, Jayesh said that a large number of people form the community are deprived of education adding, “No child should remain uneducated due to financial issues. The government will not leave any stone unturned to help educate Muslim community members.”
